Materials:

-I recommend 3mm high density eva foam for the blade and 10mm high density eva foam for the hilt/guard. You can also use 3 layers of 3mm for the guard.

-Contact cement for gluing the foam together.

-2x 1/8" steel welding rods for the core.

Tools:

-Xacto knife for cutting out foam.

Difficulty(who can likely build this): Patient Teenager

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) to print at Scale 100% correctly. The 'how to print' file that is included shows the print settings in Adobe Acrobat. Any standard letter printer (8.5x11) will work to print the pattern.
